SPSI is the Northwest’s oldest American Psychoanalytic Association approved training institute. Founded in 1948, SPSI has strived for excellence in psychoanalytic training for clinicians, researchers, and academicians. Our graduates and members serve the Northwest community through educational symposia with nationally known speakers, educational programs open to all northwest psychotherapists, consultation to community organizations, and reduced fee psychoanalytic treatment available to the community at large.
